After the din of a dozen people talking for the past three days, this morning's peace (and sleeping in) was a welcome return to normal. In honor of feeling relaxed and happy, the family decided to head to Scottsdale for some shopping and (of course) lunch. After consulting several menus along the sidewalk, we settled on P.F. Chang. We have not stepped foot in a P. F. Chang restaurant in years because we usually opt for the company's less expensive café version: Pei Wei (which is one of my favorite places to eat since the orange sauce tofu with veggies is wonderful), but we were all happy with today's selection, which (for me) featured the chicken lettuce wraps. While I assume the sauce contained carb-laden ingredients, the selection did exclude rice and noodles - the two biggest no-no's on the menu. (Though, I admit that I ate one of the flat bread goodies the waiter brought for us to try.) While I happily munched my delicious morsels, I considered the myriad of foods that would work well in lettuce wraps. Of course, anything that requires a bun (or bread) is fair game along with anything served in a shell, but isn't there something more exotic or interesting? Here's the list of ordinary (and perhaps not so) foods I came up with. Enjoy!

2. hamburger
2. taco
